Standard Features

    Materials
    All frame and retainer sections shall be extruded aluminum shapes produced from commercial quality 0.062" thick 6063-T5 alloy. In-fill made from perforated 16 Ga.; galvanealed A-60 coated steel sheet with optional 0.028" stainless steel 12x12 mesh.

    Finishes
    The screen frames and screen sash shall be factory finished to match the window frame. The finish shall conform to AAMA 2604

    Hardware
    Low profle European lock handle with multi-locking points. Power coated pre-assembled (3) tamper proof knuckle hinge design made from aluminum with stainless steel pins. Hinge raceway allows for removal of hinge or adding of hinges without the need to process screen frame. Egress hardware is standard; custodial access handle available.

    Performance
    Complies with test criteria of SMA 6001-2002.

    1. Impact Test:
      1. Security Screen: An impact of 100 ft. /lbs. of force causing a deflection of not more than 3" as specified for heavy rating.
      2. Vandal Screen: An impact of 50 ft./lbs. of force causing a deflection of not more than 3" as specified for medium rating.
    2. Sag Test: 90 lbs. of weight applied for 5 minutes with permanent sag of not more than 0.063" as specified for heavy rating.
    3. Force Entry Test: Three loads of force: A: 150 lbs., B: 300 lbs., C: 50 lbs. applied to the screen as specified for heavy rating.
